Why subscribe?

If you’ve enjoyed any of my writing over the past five years (christ has it been that long) then you’ll enjoy what will be posted here. Over time, my interests have outgrown an inferiority complex about football tactics, extending to an inferiority complex about everything. Only kidding (sort of). I want to write about the wide variety of topics that bounce into my head on any given day without pitching someone. Most of you have stuck with me as I’ve written about football, film, video games, social movements, and much much more. I have come to, perhaps narcissistically, believe it’s because you like what I have to say. Entering the autumn of my youth, I’d like to cultivate that community into something I can grow with and maybe even feed myself servicing.

While elements of this newsletter will be free, parts will be paywalled. Y’all have heard me rant about the need to patronize individuals before, so I won’t drone on about that here. But just know every bit helps. If you can’t afford (and by afford I mean justify) the tiers I set up, send me an email or dm and we can chat about it. At the end of the day, I want this to be read. If you don’t have the capacity to spend right then and there, we can work something out.
